The letters of Mrs. Garland Shell, Marie Shell and Newman Shell, of Childress Presbyterian Church, and Mrs. Essie Berryhill, of Davis, Oklahoma, were unanimously received.  Also the letters of Mrs. H.C. Bugg and Juanity Bugg, of Garland, Texas Presbyterian Church.

The question of suitable and faithful ushers for the church, was discussed and it was voted that the following ushers serve for the remainder of the church year:  Jasper Estes, Wm. Block, Gideon Bell, Irb Bateman, Tod Pasdral, Otto Kaden, Harold McDaniel, and Felix Johnson.  It was voted that Jasper Estes have charge of ushers at the morning services and Gideon Bell at the evening services.

The following members were received by letter:  Mary Frances Midkiff, Christine Bell, Allen Bell, Wayne Delfeld.

The following members were received on profession of faith:  Townsend Miller, Homer McKissick, Ross McKissick.

By request the name of Ruling Elder W.H McDaniel was dropped from the role.

On motion and second it was voted to place Ruling Elders Edgar Van Slyke and C.P. Priddy on the honorably retired list, or make of them elders emeritus.

The following names were nominated to become elders in this congregation:  Jasper Estes, Tod Pazdral, Otto Kaden, Clay Newton.
