Helping the Organizations that First Presbyterian Church Supports

The congregation of First Presbyterian Church supports several worth while organizations and from time to time during the course of the year there will also be special projects that the congregation will contribute towards. One organization that First Presbyterian supports is VISTO (Volunteers in Service to Others). Each month VISTO provides the church with a list of its current needs. For February they are needing the following items to fill the backpacks for their Backpack Buddy program: Vienna sausages, fruit cups, Instant oatmeal, Peanut Butter/cheese crackers, raisins/peanuts. If you can contribute to that, those food items can be brought to the church. Monetary donations are always welcome as well. Among other things, First Presbyterian also supports Abigail's Arms, helps to deliver meals for DASH, and provides treats for boys at the Gainesville State School being tutored by a congregation member.

The church's address is 401 S. Denton, Gainesville, TX. A red wagon is kept in the hallway across from the office and donations can be placed there for VISTO.
