Welcome to the First Presbyterian Church U.S.A. in Gainesville! We are happy that you are interested in our church. Each Sunday morning, we have:
10:30 AM Morning Worship, and 11:30 AM Fellowship. A nursery is provided for parents who prefer to have their infants or toddlers cared for during worship. We are located at 401 S. Denton Street,
Gainesville, Texas.

"Please join us at First Presbyterian Church on Sunday, October 13 when Dr. Vivian Tomlinson will bring the message. Her sermon will be based on Job 23: 1-17, "God's There even When We Don't Feel Him." Suffering Job, a righteous man beloved of God, has lost EVERYTHING-family, wealth, possessions, health. And his so-called "friends" are blaming him, the victim, for his suffering! Sounds very contemporary, doesn't it, people whispering that someone's great suffering was likely caused by some hidden sin? And often sin IS at the root of our suffering. But then, too, sometimes bad things happen to REALLY GOOD people! Like Job. Come hear how a REALLY GOOD man acknowledges that God is still there, and still Sovereign, even when He seems to have turned His back on us.
