Creative Arts Camp
During the second week of August the First Presbyterian Church is transformed into an artistic camp for children to explore the creative arts. Beginning on Monday and continuing each day through Friday, the children meet at the church from 8:30 until 11:30 a.m. During the workshops, the children learn songs and complete art projects based around a theme. On Sunday they are invited with their families to attend our church service and demonstrate what they have learned during the week. It is also a chance for them to showcase the projects that they completed. On July 30-August 3, 2018 God's Creative
Arts Camp met with workshops on Bubble Art, Stained Glass, Splatter Paint, and Painting with Paper. The cost for
the week is $5 per child and scholarships are available. Open the documents below to see a flyer about this year's camp and
to get a copy of the registration form. Fill it out and bring it to the church, 401 S. Denton.
Our church is very blessed to have many talented artists as members of our congregation who are eager and willing to share their gifts with the artists of the future.
